In 1976, I was a 13 year old boy at home alone in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho when I heard a knock on my front door. A boy scout stood at my porch and offered me the purchase of a raffle ticket for $1.00. I tracked down a dollar in the house and purchase 1 ticket. To my surprise, I found myself on the front page of the newspaper with my brand new blue Honda XL70 motorcycle that I won!
Front page news hits again Thursday, April 3rd, 1980 in the Lewiston Morning Tribune (Idaho) when I was 17 years old. There I was roller skating down the levee hand-in-hand with my two friends on a beautiful sunny spring day.
The Seattle Times Front Page, December 2, 1989 me and my family broke the story of a small town man (my brother Brian) from Idaho was diagnosed with AIDS and my family began an awareness campaign for the afflicted and community.
December 26th, 1989 Lewiston Morning Tribune (Idaho) my family (Bonnie and Breezi) made the front page when my brother Brian was the first in the region to be diagnosed with AIDS. Always involved in the latest research medication from the University of Washington, he still lives to this day (2023) even though we have laid to rest many of his partners and friends.
At 27 y/o on June 6, 1990 in the Life Chiropractic College West newspaper called the “Life Lines” I was nailed on the front page in the perfect split jump reverse frisbee catch!
The Seattle Times, June 28, 1997: Dr. Medsker was president of the young men’s organization for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bellevue, WA and performing as a Captain in the U.S. Army rode a horse and helped organize and create the reenactment of the “Great Migration” of the early Mormon settlers.
Eastside Journal, September 18, 1997: Bellevue Mayor Ron Smith officially declares Dr. Medsker’s event “Kids Day” America and gives him a special proclamation for his role in teaching the health, safety and environmental awareness to the children of the eastside with the help of the police and fire officials as well as other community doctors and organizations.
Dr. Medsker has had the honor and privilege of providing services to more than 600 celebrities and musicians from members of the following groups: Seattle Seahawks & Super Sonics, Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, Ringling Bros Circus, 3 American Idols, Def Leppard, Heart, Tool, The Grateful Dead, Ratt, Iron Maiden, Ted Nugent, Weird Al Yankovic, Scorpions, Tesla, Queensryche, Big & Rich, Candlebox, Ronnie James Dio, POD, Great White, Dream Theater, Foreigner, Night Ranger, Journey, A. Pink Floyd, Santana, Pink, Stryper, Korn as well as Mike O’hearn (Mr Universe) and “Billy the Exterminator” just to name a few. He has also served as the team Chiropractor for Pro Soccer (Utah Real) and (Utah Blitzz) Arena Football for 4 years, for the Emerald Cup Pro Body Building competitions and has appeared on numerous television commercials and radio talk shows including “Town Meeting”, “The Cover It Show”, “Mighty Mouth Blues Radio” & “The Jim French Show!”
